D. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
What are Cookies
Cookies are bits of electronic information that assign a unique identification to your computer that a website may transfer to a visitor’s computer to identify specific information about the visitor’s visits to the website. Cookies are typically stored on your computer’s hard drive and are used to help track clicks as you go through the pages within our Website. We may also use cookies to tell us whether you have previously visited the Website. We also use cookies that may be set by third parties with whom we have entered into agreements, which may enable us to obtain analytics information about the use of our Website.
How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies such as web beacons, clear-GIFs, pixel tags, server logs, widgets and JavaScript on our Website and our Services for a variety of purposes. We use “first-party” cookies to allow your browser to talk to the actual website that you are visiting to improve your site experience, to distinguish you from other users of our Website (e.g., to preserve the contents of your virtual shopping bag between visits), to gauge content usage, and to support the marketing of our Website and products. These cookies may store information about you and your use of our Website. We also work with third-party vendors that help us track, collect, and analyze this information. These third-party providers may also place cookies onto your computer, known as “third-party” cookies, such as the source of an ad that appears on the website you are visiting or a third-party analytics provider. Those third-party cookies may enable us to obtain aggregate demographic information and user statistics about you and your preferences from these third-party sources as well as our information we have about you. By continuing to access, use, or otherwise interact with our Website, you agree to the storing of cookies on your device, or you can opt-out from non-required cookies. You can change your preferences as set forth above and as noted below.
How to Adjust Your Cookie Settings
You can opt-out of each cookie category (except strictly necessary cookies) by changing your cookie consent settings in your browser or by setting your browser to notify you when you are sent a cookie. You may also remove cookies after they have been placed onto your computer. Please note that changing your cookie preferences in one browser will not necessarily carry over to other browsers, nor may it carry over between your devices, so you may need to adjust your preferences each time you use a new device, install a new browser, upgrade an existing browser, or alter or delete a browser’s cookie file. However, changing your cookie settings may affect your user experience on the Website (e.g., turning off or refusing cookies may prevent you from making purchases on the Website). You can find more information about cookies at http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
Analytics
The Website uses third-party analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to collect and process data about your use of the Website, including when you visit the Website, URLs of the websites that you visit prior to visiting the Website and when you visit those websites, and IP addresses assigned to the devices from where you access the Internet. Our analytics providers may set and read cookies to collect this data and your web browser will automatically send data collected by those cookies to our analytics providers. Our analytics providers use this data to provide us with reports that we will use to improve the Website’s structure and content.
For more information on how Google uses this data, visit Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s page on How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps. To prevent this data from being used by Google Analytics, follow the instructions to download and install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for each browser you use. Using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on will not prevent Dolce Vita from using other analytics tools and will not prevent data from being sent to the Site itself or to Google. For more information about how Google Analytics uses cookies to measure user interactions on websites, visit Google Analytics Cookie Usage on Websites. You may disable cookies as discussed below, but that may impact your use and enjoyment of the Site.

Consumers may cancel their participation in this program at any time by contacting our customer service team at 1 (877) 525-2833, Monday through Sunday, between the hours of 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM Eastern Time. Generally, we do not assign monetary or other value to personal information. Under certain laws, these services may be considered a “financial incentive”. In such context, the value of a consumer’s personal information to us is related to the value of the discounted or free products or services or other benefits and rewards that the consumer obtains or that are provided to the consumer as part of the loyalty program, less the expense to us related to offering those products, services and benefits to the consumer as a participant in the program. The value may vary based on the amount the consumer purchases as a member of the program, the value of future offers that the consumer receives, and the extent to which the consumer uses those offers on future purchases from us. As an example, a 20% discount reward will vary in value to us depending on the products purchased by the consumer.
We do not collect any personal information or sensitive information through our loyalty program, [ THE LIST ], that will be sold or processed for targeted advertising, nor will any third parties receive any personal information collected through the program. The loyalty program does not have any benefits provided by a program partner, nor does any loyalty program benefit require the processing of personal information for sale or targeted advertising. If you exercise your right to delete your personal information and it impacts your loyalty program membership and/or the ability to receive any program benefit, we shall notify you in accordance with applicable state law.
